Day 3 Devotional (Week 4) "But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." The last three years have been challenging for us. We've faced the loss of Robert's job, the loss of our business, Janice returning to work full time after years of being home with the kids, both children going away to college, adjusting to the
empty nest, the death of Janice's father, Robert's mother having a stroke, and then a flooded house. If you had scored us on a stress level test, we'd have been off the chart! Sometimes it seemed like we were just bouncing from one crisis
to the next like a pinball. We were so used to being on the giving end that it was a real lesson in humility to be the one in need. However, through it all, our church family has loved us with a pure heart and has been an anchor of
sincere faith for us. Father, help us be more aware of how You are blessing our lives through other people. Use us to bless those around us. Amen. Prepared by Robert and Janice Felps To prepare spiritually during our “A Beautiful Thing” campaign, you will receive a devotional written by our own members every Monday through Saturday for five weeks.
