"Send An Invitation About This Sunday’s Study"

Today you will receive a second edition of Winning Ways after this edition. The second one is designed to forward to others.
Every edition of Winning Ways is designed for two reasons. First, I want to help you get ready for next Sunday’s worship service by giving you a word of encouragement in the middle of your busy week. Second, I want to give you a tool to
help you reach out to others.
Several of you have used the e-newsletter as a tool in your outreach. After writing about The Lord of the Rings, or The Da Vinci Code, or The Passion of the Christ, I got notes from subscribers who were able to discuss
their faith with people after forwarding Winning Ways to them. This is music to my ears!
Never under-estimate the power of the “Forward” button on your e-mail program! Conversations about Christ have started because of the click of this button. People have listened to sermons on our website because of the click
of this button. People have attended Hillcrest because of the click of this button.
If you haven’t clicked your “Forward” button after reading a copy of Winning Ways in the past, the next copy you get today would be a great place to start. This Sunday at Hillcrest, we’re going to celebrate the forgiveness God has given us
through the cross. So, this Sunday would be a perfect time to bring a friend to the service. Invite your friend by forwarding the second edition of Winning Ways that you get today, and add a personal note asking them to join you at
Hillcrest this Sunday.
Remember, your friend receives a free copy of The Anchor Course for attending. If you’ve already received your copy, be sure to read chapters 17-19 of The Anchor Course to learn more about the forgiveness God offers
us through Christ’s sacrifice. Then join us with your friend this Sunday at 9:30am or 10:45am for this important study. To catch up with the series, listen online (iTunes or website). To learn more about the book that accompanies this sermon series, read the introduction by
clicking here or check out the website at www.AnchorCourse.org.
