"Get Everyone Ready for October 29!"

As leaders, take the lead in promoting the importance of October 29. That’s “High
Attendance Sunday” at Hillcrest. As you talk with people this Sunday, October 22,
make every effort to get commitments from every member to attend and to bring
someone with them. And set the example for others by talking about
whom you plan to bring with you.
October 29 also happens to be the Sunday that we get to that line in the Creed: ”I believe in the forgiveness of sins.” I’m going to talk about how sin separates us from God and why the cross was God’s way to make forgiveness
possible. I believe several will put their trust in Jesus on this day. Will your friend be one of them?
Here’s what I need you to do as my leadership-partners: (1) Pray for
this special day; (2) bring someone to this special day; (3) be ready to
tell your story of how you came to Christ, because you may get a chance to tell
your friend about it.
